Acceptance of Terms

By using IDPhotoSnap ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

IDPhotoSnap is a dedicated visa photo service that produces compliant passport, visa, residence permit, and biometric identity photos for 100+ countries and 276 document formats. All image processing is performed locally in your browser via WebAssembly. Photos never leave your device and are not uploaded to any server.

Photo Specifications and Acceptance

Every photo specification in IDPhotoSnap is validated against an official issuing-authority source - the US Department of State, UK HMPO, German Bundesdruckerei, Italian Polizia di Stato, Indian PSK + Sarathi, Chinese MFA COVA, Schengen ICAO 9303 Annex 11, and equivalents for 100+ other countries. Acceptance of any photo at the point of submission is determined by the issuing authority (consulate, embassy, government portal, or service center), not by us. This is true of any photo, including ones produced by professional photo studios, kiosks, or competing services. We make the spec-compliance step deterministic; we cannot make the final consular decision.

If a portal silently rejects an upload, the most common causes are file-size limits (DS-160 caps at 240 KB, Saudi Enjaz at 200 KB, India PSK at 250 KB) and background color tolerances. IDPhotoSnap handles each of these constraints automatically per the destination spec. Photo specifications occasionally change. We monitor the official sources and update the dataset; if you are applying for a new visa category that launched in the last 30 days, verify the current spec directly with the issuing authority as a final check.

Permitted Use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the Service for any purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IDPhotoSnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
